Choosing the most effective route to finding candidate's is crucial.  Sometimes you may be able to perform the recruitment task for little or no expense other than your own time if you follow a few simple and practical approaches yourself.

What are the Free Ways to Recruit?

NETWORKS - Utilise yours and your colleagues network of business contacts and contact them directly, being open and speaking to your friends, colleagues, bosses and making everyone you know aware you have a need is the first step.

INTERNAL RECRUITMENT - Who internally could you retrain for the role? can you split the role into two and give the added responsibility and additional salary to two or more employees?

FREE ADVERTISING - Have you advertised through the job centre, this costs nothing and due to unemployment being high, you may just strike gold.

SOCIAL MEDIA - Advertise the role on your website, or social media sites you use.

Free recruiting relies on the fact that you and your colleagues go out of their way to ask friends and business associates if they know anyone suited, or on someone who is currently looking is seeing your advert on a specific time or day its posted and apply direct. Free recruitment is just that free but hits a very small target audience.
